DRA MEMBER RANCH HORSE SAFETY CERTIFIED AND ADAPTIVE FIRST AID FOR THE TRAIL CERTIFIED

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java. With millions of acres of extraordinary scenery around us, you will never tire of our horseback riding. We offer different trail rides every day except Sundays. The rides range from short to long and fast to slow. In all cases we provide experienced wranglers to accompany you.

On the first day we offer a very basic riding orientation program in the arena. Guests may have as much instruction as they feel necessary throughout the week. Our wranglers enjoy spending additional time in the arena with interested guests.

By the middle of the week we hope you’ll be ready for some all day riding, and perhaps by Thursday you will join us on an overnight pack trip. We are one of the few ranches that can get our guests up into the back county (up to 12, 200 ft.) where you may not see another person all day. We’ll provide sleeping bags, great food and Western Hospitality. We have special use permits which authorize us to ride in Pike National Forest.

We will help you select a horse to suit your experience at the beginning of the week and, if you like the choice, you can keep that one for all your riding. For riding safety and comfort, we strongly encourage you to bring boots or at least something with a good heel.

On Saturday it’s rodeo time. Both kids and adults will have a chance to compete in barrel racing, pole bending and all. It’s great fun to see folks (who a week before had never been on a horse) proudly wearing a blue ribbon on Saturday night. But don't worry, you’ll have plenty of time to practice.
